The 2-day Essential Wilderness Survival Course teaches students the basics of survival.  This class is designed to develop the skills needed to survive a 72-hour emergency situation. There are two days of instruction with an optional third day to enjoy yourself around camp. The 2-day/1-night Wilderness Survival Weekend takes participants through an authentic survival experience. Follow our qualified instructors into the wilderness for hands-on experience in what it takes to live in the wild. This is not a course -- rather, it’s an adventure! Participants and instructors alike will create their own shelters and procure their own food and water. By the end of the weekend participants will have truly thrived in the wild on their own merit. Trail Blazer Survival School will be offering an edible plants class at its Union, SC campground location. Dan Whitten, former president of the South Carolina Native Plant Society will teach participants how to find, identify, and the use of native SC plants found during a wood walk.  The class will begin at 10:00 and end 2:00. This course will be very interactive and informative including hands on instruction with the wild plants that grow on Trail Blazer's property.  For those in the Greenville/ Simpsonville area who wish to take a shuttle to the union camp select "shuttle" under products during check out. The shuttle will depart from our Simpsonville office location (205 Batesville Rd., Suite 2 Simpsonville, SC 29681) at 8:30a.m. and return at 3:30p.m.

Bug Out Workshop
